WHAT WE DO AND WHO WE ARE​

What do we do?  

We build memories. That’s what we do. We train and guide people just like you into the lakes, rivers, and oceans to experience things that ninety nine percent of the population will never see or do.    

We have fun! We host fun dives, cookouts, presentation nights, workshops and more. We offer scuba divers of all levels the opportunity to meet other divers and share in our passion.​   

We travel. We inspire people to get off the couch and into the water, both minutes and hundreds of miles away from home. We swim with Manatees, frolic with fish, dive with dolphins, explore 200-year-old shipwrecks, watch the sun shining through the ice from above, and explore underwater caves.   

We instruct with purpose. We don’t want diving to be just a box checked off and forgotten, but rather, a lifestyle choice. We want your class, your experience, your trip, and your purchase, to have value. We want to watch your diving journey unfold, and be there to enable it where we can.  Our mission is to produce safe, confident, and comfortable divers. Our ideology is simple. When the student feels comfortable with their skill set, and we feel comfortable with their skill set, then the student will have earned their certification. As instructors, we do not believe in time based classes, so that means if the student requires additional classroom, pool, or open water time then it is just part of the class and doesn't incur additional expense.  

Together, our staff at Underwater Antics has thousands of hours of experience in the water at multiple destinations and in varied environments. Like our students and other good divers, our training never ends. Everyone at the shop endeavors to be better educators, divers, and role models for the diving community. Our commitment to you is to provide the same level of training for your family that we would expect for ours.
